Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026 · Applies to the Military Benefits Tracker iOS app and mbtracker.app

At a glance

1. Who we are

Military Benefits Tracker is an iOS app operated by ANVOG LLC ("we," "us," or "the app"). It helps U.S. service members, veterans, and their families discover military discounts, track credit-card benefits, set optional calendar reminders, and use pay, BAH, TSP, and VA planning tools.

This Privacy Policy covers the Military Benefits Tracker iOS app and this website (mbtracker.app).

Military Benefits Tracker is an informational tool. It is not financial, legal, tax, medical, or military advice, and it is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, or any government agency. Always verify benefits with official sources.

2. Data that leaves your device

The app does not require a user account or password. Still, certain information is sent to third-party processors so subscriptions, analytics, and ops alerts can work. Categories below are written so they can align with Apple's App Store Privacy Nutrition Labels.

Purchase History

Handled by: Apple (App Store billing) and RevenueCat (subscription status / purchase verification). We do not receive your full payment card number; Apple processes payment through your Apple ID.

Purposes: App Functionality; Analytics (subscription performance and funnel understanding).

Product Interaction / Usage Data (Analytics)

Handled by: PostHog (hosted at us.i.posthog.com). We use PostHog for product improvement and funnel analytics. We do not intend to use session replay or UI autocapture.

Purposes: Analytics; App Functionality (understanding and improving the product). Not for third-party advertising.

Contact Info / Identifiers (when you provide a name)

If you enter a name (or similar profile fields) in the app, that information may be set as analytics person properties in PostHog and associated with an analytics identifier. We do not use this to create a login account. We do not ask for an email address inside the app for account signup; if you email support, that correspondence is handled separately.

Purposes: Analytics; Customer Support (if you contact us).

Ops / internal alerts

When onboarding completes, we may send a limited operational signal (for example acquisition channel, branch, pay grade, selected plan, and related onboarding fields) through AlertFast so our team can receive internal alerts (for example via Telegram). This is for operations, not advertising.

What we do not do

App Store label note: Categories above (Purchase History; Product Interaction / Usage Data; Contact Info if name is collected as a person property; and any Identifiers used by analytics) should be declared in App Store Connect so the store label matches this policy. See the checklist delivered with this update.

3. Data that stays on your device

Military Benefits Tracker is largely local-first. Information you enter for day-to-day use is stored on your device (for example via on-device storage). We do not operate a user account database that syncs your full profile to our own servers.

Examples of on-device data include:

Important: Some of the same profile fields may also be sent to PostHog and/or AlertFast as described above. On-device storage is not the whole story for those fields.

Using Profile → Reset all data clears local app data on that device. It does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage billing in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Resetting local data also does not automatically delete analytics history already processed by third parties; contact us if you need help with a deletion request.

4. Optional permissions you control

You can deny these permissions and still use most of the app.

Location (while using the app)

Calendar (optional)

5. Why we use data

We do not use your data to power third-party advertising networks in the app.

6. Processors & third parties

We use the following processors / platforms. Each has its own privacy policy:

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users or the service.

7. How long we keep data

8. Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. Because much processing is device-local or handled by processors, we may need clarifying details to locate records.

9. Children

Military Benefits Tracker is intended for adults in the U.S. military community and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. International users

The app is built primarily for the U.S. military community. If you use it outside the United States, information described in this policy may be processed in the United States (or other regions where our processors operate). Local laws may provide additional rights — contact us to exercise them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this page when the app or our practices change. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
